More than half of Tennessee’s rivers, streams, lakes, and wetlands are considered impaired due to pollution, runoff, litter, and aging wastewater systems. Lauren will strengthen coordination between farmers, municipalities, and conservation partners to reduce runoff, address pollution, and restore healthy waterways that protect drinking water, recreation, and wildlife.
